Ever wonder what happened to Kanye West’s “Monster” video? Well, dammit, I do…and that’s why I had to put in a little research. Last I had heard, the video was leaked online in December but was never officially released since then.
After the 30 second preview of the video was leaked by HipHopConnection.com, women right’s activists Sharon Haywood and Melinda Tankard Reist sent a petition of 5,000 signatures from irate, concerned citizens over to Universal Music Group and MTV voicing their outrage over the video clip. They claimed that the video showed women as only sexual objects and that violence against women as art is acceptable.

“The video features West, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Nikki Minaj surrounded by the “sexy” corpses of women in lingerie. Other women dangle from the ceiling by chains. Behind Jay-Z, a dead, naked woman lies with her mouth wide open, bluntly indicating her last act was a sexual one. Ross erotically eats a plate of raw meat from between a female corpse’s legs. And West practically rapes the dead bodies of two women in bed. The message of the video is pretty clear: women are sex objects and it can be erotic when they are killed in violent, sexual ways.
The mainstreaming of videos like this increases desensitized and callous attitudes toward violence against women,” said Reist, one of the campaign originators. “Young people are seeing images and absorbing harmful messages which glamorise misogyny and brutalise women. Women are reduced to sex-doll like playthings. So great is the level of desensitization that the barbaric treatment of women and girls is seen as normal and to be expected. We decided to run this campaign because we wanted to challenge the status quo.”

Surprisingly, last week MTV contacted Reist and Haywood and told them that they wouldn’t be airing the current version of ‘Monster’ because the network has a strong commitment to fighting violence against women through their EXIT campaign, which addresses human trafficking and sexual violence against women around the world.
Although they are satisfied with MTV’s response, they won’t be completely happy until Universal Music Group steps forward and addresses their concerns as well.

Last week, it was reported that Kanye West’s new video for “All of The Lights” was pulled from youtube because it was deemed a health hazard. It was later put back up with a warning that the flashing imagery in the video could trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy.

Chris Brown has an album coming out in March 22, So along with it, he dyed his hair blond a week ago, and not to ad the cherry on top of the cake he has naked pictures circulating on the web.

Right before Chris Brown's Album release, a naked photo of him has surfaced the Internet. I don't if I should be shocked or surprised at these celebrity antics.

Lil Wayne, sat down in an interview with Sway from MTV and here is what he had to say about Nikki Minaj and Drake.

Wayne admits that Drake is a better artist than he is because he is multi talented.

“The first thing I said was this kid’s a superstar. I don’t think you can remember, but I did some interviews back then when they were asking me about him and I said he’s better than me. I never thought i would see the socialite/ entrepreneur ever going topless, especially the daughter of a preacher, i guess she now fits into the joke of "the daughters of the preachers are the ones who are rebellious", i have to say i m lost for words, she is already established herself as a business woman and now she has just downgraded her status into a socialite like Kim K, Paris Hilton and many more who posed nude for attention. In my opinion posing nude doesn't mean that your proving that you are now a grown woman, because a grown woman stays sophisticated and earns her respect in that manner.

When asked about The Jersey Shore and her TV personality, Snooki said that it has taken its toll on her and she can't say she's loved the perception its created. She explains:

Obviously, they're only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I'm seeing is me drunk and falling down. Snooki knows that she is a brand name and she is willing to turn her 15 minute of fame to more fame and more money. who said that money can't buy happiness, the jersey shore star gets paid to party. Now this is what you call a certified party job, you party hard and you earn big bucks of money.

Speaking of her future and turning her 15 minutes to more ,  Snooki says she sees herself taking after another famous MTV reality girl - JESSICA SIMPSON.

The pictures_ a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes..But it’s really not what it looks like.. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.Thing’s people do these days to hurt others is a shame. A lot of celebs have been rocking braids with a new fresh look to it, the look is nice and chic and as well as playful, you can rock it on a date, on a night out, at work and even on special occasion. The look is less Britney Spears 'hit me baby one more time' where the singer Britney Spears rocked braids that look better on a 2-12 years old than the singer herself. This newly (well not newly but the look has resurfaced again)  inspired high school look has been upgraded to give you a chic look.

Kim Kardashian has released a single (yes she actually sang a song) which she claims its for charity. The song was produced by the dream and directed by hype William.

This is just ridiculous and maybe this girl thinks that she can win her fans with just about anything. Music has definitely lost touch if we allow people like KimK to make a mockery out of it, i mean what happened to real singers making charitable songs?

Ryan Seacrest who is responsible for some of Kim's career and also their reality show which airs on E news. The song is called JAM and it was first premiered on Ryan Seacrests radio show this morning.

 For the video she changed her style and rocked braids, when she was asked of it she replied by saying

" Hype Williams came up with this Bo Derek braids look for the music video and I loved it!  It took about four hours to do, and believe it or not I fell asleep! I wish I could have worn it longer."

  The now30 year old Kim also took up time to talkabot her boyfriend

As to her relationship with Nets player Kris Humphries, Kim divulged “it’s going really well, I’m in a good place…its different with Kris because he lets me be me.” Adding when it comes to her being “me,” “it’s hard to balance it all and he just makes it all calm I can be 100% me and he makes me smile and laugh all the time.” Plus, “he’s the least jealous guy.” As Ryan noted she was radiating with the look of love, Kim responded “I’m happy, I’m really happy!”

I personally don't really care, to me she is just a publicity whore who is very good at what she does. And this is just another publicity stunt just like her famous sex tape, her multiple boyfriends, her public appearances, and many other things she did to stay relevant till now. But, I'm sure many of you will love it and will be dancing to it soon.

lovebug NEWS: Serena Williams wen't for emergency surgery procedure for blood clot in lungs.

Serena Williams, the famous tennis player who recently attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party , was sent to emergency surgery this earlier on this week after she had suffered from a blood clot in her lungs, a representative of Serena from her team stated:

Monday Serena Williams underwent emergency treatment at Cedars for a hematoma she suffered as a result of treatment for a more critical situation," the rep says in an exclusive statement.
"Last week, Serena suffered from a pulmonary embolism [a blood clot in the lungs] which was discovered upon her return to L.A. She had been in New York for doctor appointments for the ongoing issues with her foot."
The rep added, "doctors are continuing to monitor her situation closely to avoid additional complications."

She looked very happy and beautiful when she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party last sunday, so we hope that the  pro-athlete is in good hands and will recover soon.
